Without a functioning liver we would die, because of the many processes the liver does for the body.

Without liver function all animals die; and quickly.

Of all the major organs in the body, the liver is physically the largest, and is instrumental in the body’s metabolism.

It has several functions; glycogen storage, decomposition of red blood cells, plasma protein synthesis and detoxification.

Clearly the liver is crucial to a healthy body, and its worth making extra effort to keep it healthy?

The same goes for pets too, for that matter.

The liver is amazing organ, and can regenerate itself with extraordinary powers in a healthy body.

But it needs to be healthy to do this, if it is not in a good environment it may cease working, and death will quickly follow.

Of course the liver is a target for disease in humans. Your pet can also contract diseases of the liver and other major organs. But let’s look at what could be in store for your pooch if his liver becomes unhealthy.

Chronic Active Hepatitis in dogs can be compared to cirrhosis, the disease that affects many heavy drinkers. The causes are often unknown, but the target is the liver.

The disease causes the immune system to produce antibodies which affect the liver cells, causing blood flow to be restricted in the liver.

Add the build up of toxins that cannot be excreted and you will see very quickly how the liver could fail.

Specific breeds such as Doberman Pinschers, Cocker Spaniels and certain terriers often get this terrible disease.

Other diseases which can affect the liver are cancer and hepatitis.

How can you help keep your dog’s liver healthy? Nutramax Denamarin with SAMe for dogs may be the answer as it is designed to help healthy liver functionality.

SAMe has the added bonus of providing protective and restorative effects on liver cells.

Glutathione is an antioxidant to be reckoned with, and SAMe helps nourish, renew and stop liver cells from dying.

The benefits are two-fold as a healthy liver will eradicate toxins from the body much more speedily.

Don’t forget too that the liver is key in ridding the body of toxins so a healthy liver may in fact prevent disease elsewhere in the body.

Manufactured in three strengths for different sizes of dog, Denamarin is a vital component to protecting your dog’s health, and it’s reasonably priced for something that could protect his major organs.

Doesn’t prevention make more sense than a cure?

The liver is key to our very survival, and performs incredible functions in the body.

If the liver fails in any animal, the end will be soon.

In humans the liver is the biggest organ and it is vital to the body’s metabolism.

Think of it as a kind of storage / disposal unit, as it stores glycogen and gets rid of toxins and red blood cells.

In this way it’s obvious why the liver plays such an important role in the functioning of the body, hence the priority should be trying to keep it healthy.

This goes for your pets too, of any vertebrate type.

The liver possesses amazing regenerative powers, and can heal itself if a part is removed.

But only in a healthy body. In an unhealthy body the liver may well fail, leading to death.

Don’t forget too that the liver can be affected by disease. Let’s take a look specifically at dog diseases.

Chronic Active Hepatitis in dogs can be compared to cirrhosis, the disease that affects many heavy drinkers. The causes are often unknown, but the target is the liver.

Because a disease is present, the body is provoked into releasing antibodies which clog up the liver.

Toxic compounds exacerbate the problem, and if left unchecked liver failure can result.

Doberman Pinschers, Cocker Spaniels and certain terriers are predisposed to this disease.

Other diseases which can affect the liver are cancer and hepatitis.

Nutramax Denamarin with SAMe for dogs has been specially formulated to stimulate healthy liver processes by encouraging the production of a powerful antioxidant, glutathione.

It contains S-Adenosylmethionine SAMe and silybin, the former of which increases levels of glutathione, a powerful antioxidant.

Denamarin is best used as an element in protective healthcare for your dog to help support the liver.

Although it will not cure disease, Denamarin will help support good liver function which may help stave off disease and infection.

In this way the functioning of the liver will help the body get rid of toxins therefore reducing the chance of disease.

Produced in doses suitable for small, medium and large dogs, Denamarin is a small expense that could end up saving you thousands of dollars and your dog’s life.

Doesn’t it make sense?

Choice choice choice, it’s everywhere we look these days.

From where we choose to vacation, to the color of our carpet. In fact, we can customize almost anything to be the way we want it.

Credit cards are a fine example. Long gone are the days when one bog standard card would fit all, these days you can pick out whichever design you like from a selection.

And take checks for example. did you know you can order checks in hundreds of different designs?

I am sure there are masses of people shaking their heads, thinking of me with an illustrated checkbook?

Well, it makes the pain of paying for something a little sweeter, plus if you give a friend of a family member a check, it makes the transaction seem much more friendly and less formal.

But don’t ignore the potential marketing side of it too - illustrated checks could help you promote your business.

Here is the scenario - you have a business to do with pets, might be that you are a dog breeder, or you import foods for dogs, or maybe you sell custom designed dog collars.

Imagine how thrilled your customers would be to see a cheque branded with an animal.

And if they are just for your own personal use, it can be fun to have a unique and different look to your checks.

There are many featured artworks by Gary Patterson used on the Styles Check Company website as part of a special Collector’s Edition selection.

With wonderful contented feline illustrations and great dog drawings, you can take you cat or dog mania to a new level.

It’s so sweet to have a Patterson drawing on your check as they are cute and wholesome and features great pet personalities.

Take a look at the sweet designs on his dog checks, or maybe you would prefer a set of indolent cat drawings.

The truth about cats and dogs is that they usually don’t get on and Patterson uses this to great comic effect in his illustrations that star both cats and dogs.

There are four scenes to choose from.

If cats and dogs are not your thing, but you would give your eye teeth for something with a dolphin on, don’t despair, the site has so many designs you are bound to find something.

These checks will definitely work when you take them to the bank, and have sophisticated anti-fraud features.

Why not give these as a gift for Christmas or a Birthday for an animal lover in your family or your circle?

Imagine that every time they clap eyes on that illustration picked out by you, they feel fond memories.

Let’s face it. Many of us enjoy a little companion therefore, some of us keep puppies as pets. But most of us dread having pets as we may think that we are going to burden ourselves with more responsibility. Some of us think that potty training your puppy is a hassel. Let me tell you one important thing; it is best to potty train your puppy while it is still young as when you train it when it is older, you need to get rid of its old habits. These are some ways in which you can potty train your beloved puppy. Read on if you want to find out more.

Let’s begin with the basics. You need to consider the age of your puppy. A new-born is not ready for potty training but by three months, he is all set to learn how to cleanup.

First Rule: Keep your puppy’s meal on a regular schedule. In this way you can take your pet out after his done with his meal. You can also take out your pet after nap, before his bedtime, or when he whimpers during the night.

Second Rule: You should only feed your puppy and give him a little water when you can take him outside after eating. As much as possible do not give water to your puppy two hours before sleeping. In this way you help prevent accidents through the night.

Third Rule: After playing with your puppy, you can now bring him outdoors with you on a leash. This would give your puppy a hint that it’s time to relieve himself.

Fourth Rule: Always bring your puppy to the same spot, so that he could recognize the area where he should regularly eliminate.

Fifth Rule: You can use a word that would cue your puppy to relieve himself on your command. They will recognize that specific word as a command soon enough.

Last: I am sure you like to be praised. Therefore, you should reward or praise your puppy if he relieves himself outside or followed your instructions on potty training.

Accidents are bound to happen. Therefore these are the best suggestions I can offer you.

If you caught your pet in middle of relieving himself, don’t scream or yell. Gently nudge your pet to go outside and after this continue the reward thing by praising your puppy.

I am sure it is frustrating seeng the mess left behind by your pet but you need to stay calm and clean up the mess. After that you should continue the potty training routine that you have made up. After cleaning put the soiled cleaning materials outdoors or where your puppy usually relieves himself, making it easier for your pet to recognize where he should go in the future.

So, there you have it. All you need to do now is to stick to the routine that you have drawn out for your puppy. Trust me, with some patience you puppy will be very well discipline. Good luck!

In the beginning, Golden Retriever breeding can be almost impossible to achieve for the first time breeder and though you may be advised that there is nothing to it, often it can turn out to be more complicated than you may have imagined. In any case, it is never a good idea to breed unless you are absolutely sure of what it takes to breed these animals since it would be doing a great injustice to the breed if you did not exercise proper Golden Retriever care before indulging in breeding activities.

This is especially important because every prospective buyer would expect nothing but the best bred Golden Retrievers and so proper breeding would mean being able to make the right choices even in spite of the high costs as well as level of care required during the entire breeding process. Also, you need to shoulder a lot of responsibility, which may take up a lot of your time and also set you back a pretty penny as well.

Sometimes, you may need to ensure that you don’t mate your bitch to a different dog type or even with another dog of different temperament because the litter produced from this kind of Golden Retriever breeding would result in differing appearances as well as dispositions and thus will not be worth the effort. In fact, proper Golden Retriever breeding requires doing exhaustive research regarding particular lines and also finding out which particular dogs will complement or even improve characteristics found in the bitch. Thus, it does require that you make a commitment to do all that is necessary to ensure proper breeding as well as are prepared to provide the best in Golden Retriever care once the litter has been produced.

However, Golden Retriever breeding gives you a lot of options with regard to best breeding practices and you will first of all need to find a proper pair who can then be mated according to their compatibility and other favorable characteristics. Thus, to get the best out of your breeding activities, you will not only need to exercise proper Golden Retriever care, but also look at each partner’s traits and temperaments as well as their compatibility with each other.

If you are really serious about getting the best out of Golden Retriever breeding, you need to ascertain whether either partner has any serious health problems.

In fact, proper Golden Retriever breeding must also entail things such as history of health related problems, which must be eliminated from the coming litter.

Still, if you are the owner of a Golden Retriever with outstanding qualities, you would no doubt want to indulge in Golden Retriever breeding in order to give birth to puppies that also will have outstanding qualities.

Nevertheless, you need to get your bitch checked to ensure that its hip score is good and that it should be given clear eye certification as well as possesses sound temperament as well as is free from health concerns.
